Curriculum
The Indonesian curriculum has specific core standards that they want their students to attain. In MTS Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, they make use of the KTSP 2006 curriculum in teaching their grade 7 and 8 and the 2013 curriculum for their grade 9. The curriculum is written in Bahasa Indonesia and they are very particular on the skills that the students acquire after learning the topic. In the KTSP 2006, they have basic competence, subject matter and learning. All these three have to be aligned in order to achieve the standard competence that they want their students to achieve at the end of the topic.
