"On Our Own"

Today Larissa and I felt empty because Margie and Jessie are gone. We woke up very early to see them go and it was very sad. In one month we managed to bond the way we did. We promised to keep in touch even though we are already in the Philippines.

In order for us not to feel lonely, our buddies, Astian and Dinar decided to bring us to Chapin Park. There they showed us around and we had a good time. However, we can't help but think how Margie and Jessie would've enjoyed it there.

We took lots of pictures especially of the glass bridge. The view was amazing and it made me see how fortunate I was to be able to come on an exchange program and witness this beauty.

After this, Larissa and I spent the evening packing. We also bought last minute chocolates for our friends back in the Philippines. We reminisced about the good times in the mess and our experience in Indonesia before going to bed.
